Most companies complain that “employees are not motivated”, “they only come to spend 8 hours of their time here and then go home” or “they only care about the salary”. However, do companies know why?

Lots of reasons can explain this lack of motivation. Amongs´t them, who is your manager, and the kind of leader he is. We will talk about this in the next article.

Today we will focus on a quick and easy way to get:

  • ALL people involved
  • In ALL areas of the company
  • EVERY day

Years ago nearly in every company, a system of suggestion box started, normally with No SUCCESS due to its complexity.

But Don ´t you find it interesting that the people who work in the company can contribute to the company improvement? How can we have a Continuous Improvement System without “forcing” everybody to use their brains?

Because it is easier to complain and say that things are not working… right?

Imagine, for a moment, that you could “force” everybody to improve their work just for 29 seconds a day. 29 seconds is just 0,1% of the 28.800 seconds (8 hours, 480 minutes) that we, in theory, work daily. This would mean just improving “NOTHING” or “NEAR TO NOTHING”
